Black Forest Custard is a combination of Chocolate custard and vanilla custard. It contains lots of chocolate that melts in your mouth. This is the most delicious custard dessert among all desserts of its kind. We also use pineapple and fresh cream layers to make it more desirable. This unique dessert is served chilled. Kids love this dessert so much. It is amazing in taste and nutritious as well.
Black Forest Custard Ingredients:
Milk 1 Kg
Delve’s Vanilla Custard 8 level tbsp
Vanilla Essence 4-5 drops
Sugar 8 level tbsp
Coco Powder 6 level tbsp
Fresh Cream 1 cup
Pine Apple ½ can
Sprinkles for decoration
Chocolate Bar 1
Milk to dissolve Chocolate 2-3 tbsp
Method:
Boil the milk in a cooking vessel. Add Sugar. Dissolve the Custard powder in cold water and add it slowly into the milk while stirring. Cook it till custard becomes thick. Set aside to cool down. Now divide the custard into two equal portions Add vanilla essence in one portion and add coco powder in another portion to make two different flavors. Mix them well.
Place a wide pan with about one inch of water on a burner. Place your chopped chocolate bar in a heatproof bowl (stainless steel or tempered glass), and set the bowl directly in the water. Bring the water to a simmer, then turn off the flame and let the chocolate sit until it is melted. Add 3 – 4 tbsp of milk into it. Keep stirring until chocolate completely dissolves. Keep it aside to cool down.
Now take a goblet / wine glass / glass bowl. Make a layer or vanilla custard in the bottom. Pour chocolate sauce over the vanilla custard with a light hand to make a proper layer. Then make another layer with Chocolate flavored custard. Spread pineapples over it. Then make a layer of fresh cream. Decorate it with Sprinkles and pineapples. Keep it inside the freezer for at least two hours. Serve Chilled.
