Pour 3 tbsp of gelatin into 1/2 cup of cold water. Take it aside for 4 – 5 minutes to bloom. Take 2 cups of sugar in a medium sauce pan and add a half cup of light corn syrup. Also add salt and a half cup of water in it. Mix all these ingredients well and cook them to bring a rolling boil. Now add this super hot sugar syrup into the bloomed gelatin while stirring. Now take a pan, grease it with butter and pour all the marshmallow batter into the pan. Use a spatula to spread the batter nice and evenly. Cover it with a plastic sheet and leave it at least for 6 hours to set. Once your marshmallows are all set up, Dust a work surface with half corn starch and half powdered sugar. Pop out the fluffy marshmallow from the pan and put it over the dusted surface. Now dust corn starch and powdered sugar mixture over the top of the marshmallow.
