Beef Steak is eaten in almost every country of the world. It is made with different styles and spices. Some eat this with caramelized onion sauce, some with cheesy white sauce; some like with the red chili sauce and some love it with mustard honey sauce. Steaks are also prepared with fish and chicken meat but the beef steaks are the best steaks in the world. Beef steak is made with the undercut meat. This meat is the tenderest portion of an animal’s body and it doesn’t require so much cooking. You can even stir fry it for 2 – 3 minutes and it becomes tender and soft. Ingredients for Beef Steak Marination:

Beef Steak (1 inch thick Slices)                          5-6

Garlic Paste                                                           1 tbsp

Ginger Paste                                                         1 tbsp

Salt                                                                          1 tsp

Red Chili Powder                                                 1 tsp

Red Chili Flakes                                                    1 tsp

Lemon Juice                                                          1 tbsp

Vinegar                                                                  2 tbsp

Worcestershire Sauce                                        1 tbsp

Mustard Paste                                                      1 tbsp

Black Pepper Powder                                         ½ tsp

Oyster Sauce                                                        1 tsp

Oil                                                                           as required

Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes:

Boiled Potatoes                                                    3

Butter                                                                     4 tbsp

Black Pepper                                                        1-2 pinch

Salt                                                                          1 or 2 pinches

Fresh Cream                                                         2 tbsp

Milk                                                                        1 tbsp

Ingredients for the Sauce:

Onion (Round Slices)                                           1

Butter                                                                     1 tbsp

Brown Sugar                                                         1 tbsp

Soya Sauce                                                            1 tbsp

Salt                                                                          ¼ tsp

Vinegar                                                                  1 tbsp

Worcestershire Sauce                                        2 tbsp

Ketchup                                                                 2 – 3 tbsp

Black Pepper                                                        ¼ tsp

Water                                                                     ¼ Cup

Corn Flour                                                             1 tbsp

Method to make Steak:

Take steak slices and marinate them with Garlic Paste, Ginger Paste, Salt, Red Chili Powder, Red Chili Flakes, Lemon Juice, Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Mustard Paste, Black Pepper and Oyster Sauce. Keep them aside for 3 – 4 hours. Pre-heat an outdoor grill for high heat. Grill steaks 4 to 5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. When done, transfer to warmed plates.

Method to make Mashed Potatoes:

Boil potatoes and mash them with a fork. Add butter, cream, salt, pepper and milk into the mashed potatoes. Beat and mix the potatoes with a spoon to make a smooth paste. Mashed Potatoes are ready to serve.

Method to make the Steak Sauce:

Take a sauce pan, Add butter and fry onion rings till they become light brown. Now add Soya Sauce, Salt, Pepper, Brown Sugar, Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, and Ketchup. Add water and mix it well and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat. Dissolve Corn flour in tab water and add it into the sauce while stirring it slowly. Turn off the flame when the sauce starts thickening and becomes golden brown in color.

Serving Streak:

Take a hot sizzling tray, and put steak over it. Pour the steak sauce over the steak. Spoon out some mashed potatoes at one side. You can also add some sauté seasonal vegetables like Carrots, Avocado, Cauliflower, Peas, Mushrooms and Asparagus etc. to your serving. Steak is ready to serve.
