Ferrero Rocher cake recipe has a same base or sponge like other cakes but it is full of hazelnuts. You don’t need to worry about the softness of the sponge as its texture is still fluffy and soft. The main ingredients of this amazing cake are Ferrero Rocher chocolates and hazelnuts. The cake consists of chocolaty cream layers and topped with a shiny chocolate glaze.

Ingredients for Cake Sponge:
All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
Powdered Sugar ½ cup
Melted Butter ½ cup
Eggs 2
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Baking Soda ½ tsp
Crushed Hazelnuts ½ cup
Nutella ¼ cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Warm water ½ cu
Ferrero Rocher Cake Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter a pan and set aside. Whisk together the ground sugar, melted butter, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, crushed hazelnuts and Nutella in a bowl. Now add all-purpose flour and fold it slowly with the mixture. In the end, add warm water to bring a smooth consistency. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake in the oven for 25 – 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cake sponge is ready.
Ingredients for Topping:
Whipped Cream 2 Cups
Cocoa Powder 2 tbsp.
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Crushed Hazelnuts ½ Cup
Sugar Syrup ½ Cup
Ferrero Rocher Chocolates 6 – 8
Chocolate Chips 1 Cup
Fresh Cream 1 Cup
Ferrero Rocher Cake Decoration:
Slice the Cake Sponge into 2 layers of equal thickness. Now moisten the cake halves with the sugar syrup to make it wet and soft. Take chilled whipped cream (not frozen) and beat it until it becomes fluffy. Add vanilla essence and cocoa powder and mix well. Now apply whipped cream over one slice and spread crushed hazelnuts over it. Now join both of the cake sponge halves in a way that whipped cream and hazelnuts chunks are sandwiched between them. Cover the cake sponge completely with the whipped cream. Level the cream with a knife. Now sprinkle crushed hazelnuts all over the cake.
Microwave the chocolate chips or melt them in a glass bowl using water bath technique. Add fresh cream into the chocolate chips and mix it well to make a shiny dense chocolate ganache or glaze. Cool it down for few minutes on room temperature and then drizzle it all over the cake. Now decorate the top with Ferrero Rocher chocolates and crushed hazelnuts.
