Twister Pie Pizza is a unique pizza variation. It is a pizza and pie combination. All pizza ingredients and toppings are filled inside the pizza crust like a pie stuffing. After filling all the toppings between two pizza crusts, we make around 16 cuts in the stuffed pizza to give it a flower like shape. And then we twist and turn each part so that all the sections look like twisted petals. Then bake it until golden in color. This twister pie pizza is very delicious, crispy outside and cheesy or juicy inside. I recommend this dish to you people. Ingredients for Pizza Dough:                                                                

All-purpose flour                                                 3 cups

Salt                                                                         1 tsp

Olive oil                                                                 2 tbsp

Sugar                                                                      2 tbsp

Yeast                                                                       ¼ ounce

Warm Water/Milk                                               1 cup

Pizza Dough Recipe:

Take a measuring bowl and dissolve water, sugar and yeast in it. Keep aside for 5 minutes to bloom. Now combine flour and salt in a broad dish. Make a well in the center and pour bloomed yeast mixture with olive oil in it. Mix flour with your hand to make smooth and non sticky dough. Place it inside a greased bowl for at least 2 hours. Cover with a wet cloth or a cling sheet. When dough becomes double in size, punch down and make two 12 inches pizza crusts by rolling it out on a flat floured surface.

Ingredients for Tomato Sauce:

Tomatoes Paste                                                    1 small

Chili sauce                                                             2 tsp

Tomato ketchup                                                   1/2 cup

Basil leaves                                                            3-4

Oregano                                                                 ½ tsp

Salt                                                                          1 tsp

Black pepper                                                        ½ tsp

Red chili powder                                                  2 tsp

Chili flakes                                                             2 tsp

Sugar                                                                      ¼ tsp

Chopped onion                                                    1 small

Garlic minced                                                       1 clove

Olive Oil                                                                 to sauté

Vinegar                                                                  4-5 tbsp

Tomato Sauce Recipe:

Heat up some olive oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic for few minutes. Add tomato paste and cook to bring a boil. Now mix all other ingredients into the tomato sauce like oregano, salt, fresh basil, black pepper, chili flakes, chili powder, tomato ketchup, chili sauce and vinegar. Cook it over low flame at least for 15 minutes. Keep stirring often. Turn off the flame when tomato sauce becomes thick. You can use it straight away or store it into the refrigerator up to 1 week.

Ingredients for Chicken Stuffing:    

Boneless Chicken                                                 1 Kg

Aginomoto                                                            1 tsp

Salt                                                                          1 tsp

Garlic paste                                                           1 tbsp

Ginger paste                                                         1 tbsp

Red Chili                                                                2 tsp

Chili flakes                                                             1 tsp

Ketchup                                                                 ½ cup

Chili Sauce                                                             2 tbsp

Black Pepper                                                        ½ tsp

Oregano                                                                ½ tsp

Chaat masala                                                         ½ tsp

White pepper                                                       1 tsp

Coriander Powder                                               1 tsp

Soya Sauce                                                            2 tbsp

Vinegar                                                                  3-4 tbsp

Turmeric                                                                ½ tsp

Chicken Stuffing Recipe:                                                             

Take a wok and add some oil in it. Add ginger garlic paste and then fry Chicken for 10 mins on high flame. Add all above mentioned ingredients and cook for 5 – 10 minutes. Chicken is ready for the stuffing.

Twister Pie Pizza Assembling & Baking:

Take a pizza or pie pan and grease it with some oil. Take one pizza crust and place it on the pan. Now spread tomato sauce and make layers of all other pizza topics with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Cover it with the second crust and seal all the edges. Now take a glass or any round cutter and make a circle in the center of the pizza pie. Cut the crust now into 16 equal sections and twist and turn each section carefully. Apply some egg wash and olive oil on the top. Preheat oven to 450 centigrade and bake pie pizza at least for 20 minutes. You can also bake a pizza in a cooking pan. Put an iron stand inside the wok and Pre-heat the covered pan. Now Put the Pizza Pan on the iron stand and cook it for 15 – 20 mins on medium flame.
